Video and short article
The observer, Mikee Phillips, made a short 8 minute video of my Channel swim. The music by Mark Masey is beautiful as is the video work by Mikee, so take a look.

Michelle; came across you writings on Marks blog. I have no aspiration of being a channel swimmer but do swim (short distance) with Pat Charette. Pat unfortunately did not get to swim this year due to the weather and your comments only reinforce for me how difficult a crossing is an how many things have to fall into place including feelings in the heart. I guess mother nature turned a kinder face to the swimmers today.
I have the utmost admiration for anyone with the will, determination and talent to cross that stretch of water. We are now looking forward with Pat to 2011 and swims in between.

Beautiful video! It’s a whole other level of appreciation that the pictures don’t give you – a remarkable accomplishment.
