Wow Michelle, by the sounds of it, you are the most accomplished person I have ever known! It looks like you have come a long ways since the Astoria Hot Springs Days where, the most dangerous thing we did all summer was trying not to get staff infections while cleaning the locker-rooms. It's a shame that place doesn't exist anymore.
Well, now that I've found you, I'm excited to see what adventures are in store for you. I'll be sure to read about them from my awesome desk job that' has made me strangers with sunlight.

Now that I've found you, I should try to find that tool Jason that was always trying to compare himself to you. On the subject, don't you think it's about time you finally told me what how he hurt his nose that one night? Sure that was 15 years ago, but I remember, so you should too!
Anyway, keep up the good work! You have a lot of people rooting for you!

I was sitting and watching your video with my son and I was very proud to say I use to swim with her in high school. What an amazing accomplishment, and how amazing it must feel. Congrats on the accomplishment and thank you for sharing it with us! Keep up the good work, I am proud when I swim a mile. Way to go!

Have a great swim across Catalina channel tonight Michelle. I will be thinking of you all day even though you are probably trying to rest and sleep right now. Uh, I will probably be doing the same at your midnight start time but I will check on you first thing in the morning. I see you are planning another English Channel swim. This time in July. Is it “better” than September?
Is there an opportunity to get more information on the details on your swim?

Your blog is a terrific training resource for channel and other open water swims! Thanks for sharing all of this information with us.

I also swim in Manzanita Bay, but the one on Bainbridge Island, WA.
